Marianne Solo – Optometrist
Marianne. “The Smiling Optom.” Marianne was born and raised in the Philippines and graduated at the top of her class from the School of Optometry in Manila, Phillippines.She is, without a doubt, the happiest person you will ever encounter, and this warmth and bliss carries on to each and every one of her patients.
Yanet Barrego - Optometrist
Yanet started her Optometry career at the Salvador Allende Health Polytechnical School in Cuba. Upon completion she finished off attaining her degree at the Faculty Manuel Fajardo. Her first job was at Ramon Pando Ferrer in Cuba, after stints in China, Angola and back in her native Cuba, she was first employed at Victoria Hospital in Saint Lucia prior to joining Vision Express in 2018.
Pristin Baranda - Optometrist
Graduate at Centro Escolar University Manila, Philippines with a degree of Doctor of Optometry Board Certified (professional Regulation Commission) Member of Integrated Philippines Association of Optometrist Examining patients eyes of all ages to detect signs of injury, diseases, abnormalities and defects. Fitting eye glasses and contact lenses.
Melina Chávez Esquivel – Optometrist
Opt. Melina Chávez Esquivel, born and raised in Mexico City, studied in one of the best ranked universities of the country, Instituto Politécnico Nacional, and achieved her degree in Optometry at the top of her class.
She acquired knowledge in contact lens fitting in Conde de Valenciana Ophthalmologic Institute with Leopoldo de Velasco, a well-kwon, recognized contact lens specialist. At the same time, she worked with one of the best anterior segment ophthalmologists of the country, Dr. Alejandro Climent. This experiences encourage her to continue learning about contact lenses.
In 2015 she obtained a certificate in Msd Scleral lenses and by 2018 a certification in Scleral lenses by the Scleral Lens Society. Same year, Opt. Melina decided to work with one of the most important groups of ophthalmologists in northern Mexico, IVO oftalmología, developing as contact lens specialist.
Thereafter, she continued working together with different ophthalmologists, helping in difficult cases of corneal abnormalities such as keratoconus.
Jonette Williams – Optometrist
Jonette is from Trinidad and Tobago and was educated at the University of The West Indies St. Augustine Campus.She has over 5 years experience in the field of Optometry. She is well admired for her reliability, positive nature, and commitment to all that she partakes in.Jonette is one who puts patient care first and is always willing to further her knowledge of the field.She communicates well and has great determination and work ethic.
Nataliya Francis – Optometrist
Nataliya Francis hails from the island of Trinidad and Tobago. Having a passion for Optometry from a young age, she graduated from the University of the West Indies with training in performing comprehensive eye examinations to prescribe glasses, contact lenses and other services. With special interest in low vision, Nataliya is persistent and dedicated to expanding her knowledge to provide the best and most genuine care to all her patients. She has now joined the Vision Express family to extend her services to the beautiful island of St. Lucia.
Kenrick Voison – Optometrist
Kenrick "The Optometry Prodigy" is a young tenacious Optometrist having graduated with his degree in Optometry from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine at the top of his class. In the final year of his degree, he was privileged to present his research paper at the American Academy of Optometry Annual Meeting and 3rd World Congress of Optometry in 2019. Besides his aspirations in academia, Kenrick has a strong desire to serve others through eyecare. And thus, he has joined the Vision Express team as he seeks to produce exceptional service to his patients in comprehensive eye examinations especially in the fields of his interest (binocular vision and specialty contact lenses).
Dr. Collins – Optometrist
Dr Collins … joined the Optometry Team at Vision Express in 2023 ,.He has ten years experience as Senior Optometrist . Dr Collins worked in West Africa and the Middle East , after obtaining his degree in Optometry from the University of Benin . He is passionate about offering an excellent Eyecare Service to his patients . His special interest is in Orthoptics and Binocular Vision.
