The Vision Express Eye Spa treats recurring symptoms of all types of blepharitis causing dry eye, especially due to dysfunction of Meibomian Gland problems.
The Meibomian Glands, in the eyelids, produce a special oil which plays an important role in lubricating the eyes.Lack of this oil to lubricate the eye can lead to scratchy eyes, a gritty feeling, burning, sore eyelids and eyelids often stuck together in the morning.If the Meibomian glands become blocked this will cause problems, leading to blepharitis and dry eye.

Unfortunately blepharitis is a recurring problem and despite a daily routine the Meibomian Glands can become blocked.
Treatment to fully release the Meibomian gland blockages and clean any accumulated bacteria is a 45 minute to one hour session in the Vision Express Eye Spa.
As long as a daily cleaning routine it’s maintained the positive effects of the Eye Spa treatment will normally last for six to twelve months.
